KEW GREEN HOTELS PLANTS ONE TREE FOR EVERY EMPLOYEE

Kew Green Hotels, one of the leading international hotel management companies with over 55 hotels in its portfolio, has partnered with Rewards Earth Ltd to plant one tree for every employee, as part of its ongoing initiatives to reduce its carbon footprint to reach Net Zero by 2040.

1,200 native trees were selected to be planted with the support of the Green Task Force at a carefully selected site in North Lincolnshire. The Green Task Force employs veterans in the UK and through Nature-Based Therapy, helps some overcome PTSD. In addition, the goal is to gain long-term employment and nationally recognised qualifications.

Halo is delighted to be supporting Kew Green Hotels with its sustainability initiatives. Kew Green Hotels are committed to a Net Zero Carbon future for its whole business and its people, pledging to become Net-Zero by 2040 – 10 years ahead of the Paris Accord Target. In this crucial Decade of Action, Kew Green Hotels are furthering its sustainability commitment by becoming Planet Mark certified by measuring and reducing its carbon footprint.
